Nike Germany: The Masked Finisher
To launch the new Nike Hypervenom 3 we created one of the greatest in-game stunts of all time, live on TV.
It was well-known amongst football fans that Aubameyang loved superheroes. So to celebrate the launch of the Hypervenom 3 we created Aubameyang’s very own superhero identity: The Masked Finisher. His weapon? The Hypervenom 3. As he broke the back of the net the celebration broke the internet. A product triumphantly launched in-game.

Role: I was hybrid Account director and producer for this project. I was responsible for delivering the project and day to day liaison for the Nike Germany marketing team. Working closely with the creative team, managing production vendors to create the ‘reveal film’, social content and production of the mask.
Results: PR stunt earned 100% of media attention across target audience (FOT’s) in Germany. Sales of the Hypervenom boot broke all previous Nike football boot sales records in Germany.
